Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport hosts the airport scenes of the productions to be shot in Izmir with its renewed domestic and international terminals. Most of the scenes of the first episode of the TV series "Runaway Brides", whose shooting started in Izmir, were filmed here. Especially the international terminals are less busy in winter and it is an easier place for shooting.
