Izmir Film Office supports independent or commercial long, medium, short feature films, documentary productions, video clips, commercial films that have not yet been shot.
Izmir Film Office provides information and support to productions from the project development stage to the shooting stage, especially the location inventory of 30 districts of Izmir and the determination of shooting locations and the permissions to be obtained. It also utilises its own human resources inventory for the employment of technical staff and interns that productions will need if they shoot in Izmir, and ensures that they come together with people. With the decision of the evaluation commission that meets at certain intervals, independent productions that apply 8 months - 6 months or 3 months before the shooting, depending on the size of the project, are provided with transport, accommodation and catering support.

After the application, Izmir Film Office will contact the applicant via e-mail for details about the project.
In the application content, the applicant should provide detailed information about the type of project and the stage of the project (project development, location research, shooting... etc.).
To review the venue inventory, you must first go to the "Venues" page on filminizmir.com. You can search according to the type of venue you want or the district where it is located; you can get information about the location of the region.
